I wondered what the cost of a having a bicycle shipped to your facility would be. The bike weights 22 lbs, plus the box. Thanks.

    • Jeremy September 27, 2012 at 10:22 am #

It would be $5 per package.

Alot of places will not ship to a PO Box. How do you work around that? How far are you from the Blaine Pacific Crossing?

    • Jeremy September 28, 2012 at 4:30 am #

We do not provide PO Boxes, we offer full shipping addresses.

Edge Logistics is only 2-4 minutes from the Blaine crossing.

Hi, my account is under my name. Can I have my brother to come to pick up the package? We live together. Or do I have to come by myself to pick up the package?

        • Jeremy October 24, 2012 at 7:45 am #

When I’m placing an order for something that will be shipped to your location do I put the shipping address as Edge Logistics 1755 Grant Ave Blaine WA 98230 or Edge Logistics 1755 Grant Ave. #9425908 Blaine WA 98230? Thanks for answering my question.

    • Jeremy October 24, 2012 at 7:46 am #

You must have your Kinek# in the address as shown in your account. We need this to be able to notify you when it arrives and associate it with your account.

  7. Chris October 24, 2012 at 2:25 pm #

Hi there… sorry slipped my mind to pick up item… it has been 40 days since notification.
What is the consequence, and can I still go down to pick it up?

    • Jeremy October 30, 2012 at 6:02 am #

You should log into your account at http://www.kinek.com. The answer is on your KinekPoints profile.

  9. Greg Cox January 31, 2013 at 12:20 pm #

Hello, I’m having concerns about Kinek , I haven’t been able to register for two days now and my web connection says “can’t find server”. ( Also no response at their 1-800 #.) Are they in “trouble” , or just having website issues??. Greg Cox Jan. 31/2013

    • Jeremy January 31, 2013 at 12:24 pm #

      Hi Greg,
Kinek is experiencing power outage issues today. That is why the website is down and 1-800# is not working. Please try again tomorrow as I’m sure it will be back up then.

      We appreciate your patience.

      • MIKGELA March 3, 2013 at 1:21 pm #

I would like to the know if the Kinek location can be changed as necessary. For example, I might want one package sent to Buffalo, but the next one to Detroit. Can this be done?

        • Jeremy March 14, 2013 at 10:05 am #

          Hi Mikgela,

Yes, you sure can. Once you have an account set up with Kinek, simply go to “Add another KinekPoint”. You can add as many as you like.

    Do accept freight shipping?

    • Jeremy March 14, 2013 at 10:05 am #

      Hi Emily,

Some of our locations accept any size and weight. This means they can accept freight that deliver pallets. If you let me know which area you are looking to ship to I can help provide a location that does accept freight.

      • Emily March 14, 2013 at 1:22 pm #

        Hi Jeremy,
I live in Vancouver, BC. I am looking to order a kids mattress from European Sleepworks, and they specified that it is freight shipping and the company will call to set up a time to deliver? Does this sound familiar?

  11. Marie May 2, 2013 at 9:17 pm #

I wanted to order a couple of bookshelves, a chair and side tables from a store in the US. Could I get these delivered to your storage facility? How much would it cost?

    • Jeremy May 3, 2013 at 8:23 am #

Yes, you can ship any size item to Edge Logistics. Pricing depends on if your items come on a pallet or not. You can view all their info by signing up for an account at http://www.kinek.com/sign-up.

  12. Una May 20, 2013 at 2:32 pm #

For an extra fee, would you be able to mail the package to Vancouver?

    • Jeremy May 21, 2013 at 9:29 am #

      Hi Una,

Kinek does not forward items onto Canada, sorry.

  13. natasha June 29, 2013 at 11:11 pm #

Is there a yearly fee to join and just confirming this is not considered a po. box?

    • Jeremy July 22, 2013 at 5:52 am #

There is no yearly fee, and it’s not a PO Box, its a full shipping address. You do need to sign-up in order to use the service.

  14. Josh July 16, 2013 at 5:58 pm #

How do I track a package shipped by you guys???

    • Jeremy July 22, 2013 at 5:49 am #

      Hi Josh,

Kinek does not ship items. We simply receive them. You would ship via UPS,USPS, FedEx, etc.

  15. Sharon September 24, 2013 at 10:49 am #

How long do you hold items for? I have an item that has already arrived at the warehouse but am awaiting another which might take another 1.5 weeks. Don’t want to make two trips.

    • Jeremy September 30, 2013 at 7:08 am #

This type of question is better to ask the support staff over at http://www.kinek.com. That’s where your account is located with all the help you will need.

  16. Matt January 5, 2014 at 7:43 pm #

If I am a high school student and I need a friend to get a package for me from a kinectpoint does my student card count as valid photo ID?

    • Jeremy January 7, 2014 at 7:55 am #

      Hi Matt,

Sorry, you would need a photo ID with a address such as a drivers license. It’s a copy so it doesn’t need to be the original. These types of questions should also be asked at http://www.kinek.com where your account is at.

  17. kate lawrence January 25, 2014 at 7:40 pm #

Hi, I live in Victoria B.C and wonder if you ship from your location to home addresses?

    • Jeremy February 4, 2014 at 7:05 am #

  18. Anthony January 30, 2014 at 10:33 am #

Are tires allowed? and which price would it be on your chart of prices?

    • Jeremy February 4, 2014 at 7:03 am #

Hi Anthony, Tires are allowed. If the location doesn’t specify a tire price on their Kinek profile, that means it’s just by weight. You will need to sign up to view their profile here – http://www.kinek.com/sign-up.

If it’s shipped in 3 boxes it’s considered 3 boxes.

  23. Tannaz April 9, 2014 at 11:26 pm #

Hi, I am buying shoes online but it says the zip code is invalid. I’m using 98230 and it is the same information I’ve entered on a number of other websites and it works. Some websites auto populate with an additional -xxxx 4 digit number following the zip code. Is this what I’ll have to enter? If so, what is it?

    • Jeremy June 3, 2014 at 6:04 am #

      Hi Tannaz,

This is a question for Kinek support, this is simply a blog for interested customers. Head over to http://www.kinek.com and visit the contact page there and they will be able to help you.

I am expecting a package that has been shipped through Ebay and was wondering why the package does not appear under the “pending pick-up” or “tracking” tabs of my Kinect profile? How will i know when the package has arrived?

    • Jeremy January 5, 2015 at 5:28 am #

      Hi Michael,

This question would be better handled over where your account exists at http://www.kinek.com. If you use your name and Kinek# correctly on the address you would receive an email the day your package arrives and it would be added to your account.

    Hi dear,
I need order some staff from us and they do not deliver to Canada. Can I let them deliver to your place and you guys ship to Vancouver, like Surrey? I definitely can pick up any place in Vancouver
I know you guys charge by package. does that mean there is no size request? sorry, I am not trying to take advantage.
    thanks a lot

    • Jeremy January 12, 2015 at 2:41 pm #

Hi there, you must pick up your item at the location you ship to, across the US border. In Blaine, in there’s no size or weight limit. They have a large warehouse.

  36. Nic Ho January 21, 2015 at 11:57 pm #

    • Jeremy February 6, 2015 at 6:58 am #

      Hi there,

You would need to check with the retailer you’re buying from.

  37. Khai April 20, 2015 at 4:22 pm #

HI, do you know if you guys have been tagged as a freight-forwarder by Amazon? I’m currently using one in Point Roberts, and it turns out that it’s a real pain to try and make a claim for damaged deliveries if the address is at a freight-forwarding company (regardless of the buyer’s name). Thanks.

    • Jeremy April 23, 2015 at 5:38 am #

      Hi Khai,

Kinek does not have any issues with Amazon from my knowledge. Try the location in Blaine, WA, Edge Logistics.

  38. Katie June 16, 2015 at 5:12 pm #

My daughter is currently in Vancouver area for the summer. She is thinking about setting up an account with you. However, do the packages have to be strictly for her shopping items. Can I just send her some of her personal things as freight?

    • Nate June 19, 2015 at 11:49 am #

      Hi Katie,

Yes, indeed! KinekPoints can accept personal packages not from retailers. As a reminder, always include her Kinek number in the shipping address.

      Hi Lori,

Yes, we certainly do. We have a KinekPoint called Letterlock in Abbotsford, BC. All you need to do is sign up for an account at http://www.kinek.com and use Abbotsford, BC, when choosing a local KinekPoint.

  41. Kevin March 17, 2016 at 7:25 pm #

Does your company have a counterpart in Canada that could provide the same type of service in the other direction? I would like something purchased via Internet and shipped to a Canadian address and be able to pick it up on the border in Washington state.

    • Jeremy April 27, 2016 at 7:00 am #

      Hi Kevin,

There is a location called Letterlock that we work with that can most certainly provide that type of service. We will send you a follow up email with more information.
